ain't too proud
summary:
i wake up every morning with a diff'rent song stuck in my head. an "ear worm" if you will. the song is usually gone by the time i get out of the shower, but i decided to see if i could try to remember them. i got some dinosuars today.
song: Ain't Too Proud To Beg
artist: Rolling Stones
it was another morning of bad, bad music for me this morning. i don't even remember the song, which is good. as i was lying on bed trying to figure out why i torture myself by waking up with horrible 80s pop songs in my head, i immediately fell back to sleep. i woke up refreshed and found the Stones in my head doing this magical cover of this great Temptations song. the really do it justice. from the opening line, "I know you want to leave me," Mick Jagger pours every ounce of soul into this number, really turning the soul facter up to eleven in this song. and it works. remember when the Stones were good?
