i wake up every morning with a diff'rent song stuck in my head. an "ear worm" if you will. the song is usually gone by the time i get out of the shower, but i decided to see if i could try to remember them. all aboard the four-wheeled, horse-drawn pleasure carriage.

"Red, yellow, honey, sassafras and moonshine"? damn hippies. the 5th Dinension were very prolific in the larte 60's. they had hits like "Aquarius/Let the Sun Shine In" and "One Less Bell To Answer" (which is a smooth jam) and "Wedding Bell Blues", which, if you know me, you've heard me sing at the top of my lungs ("will you marry me biiiiiiiiiiiiiilllllllllllllllll?") "Stoned Soul Picnic" off of the 1968 album of the same name is a great mellow tune, as the name implies, that conjuress up images of a group of young people sitting around in the park just grooving, man. this scene is not unlike a scene that we saw recently here in austin. god help us all.
