Nothing new today

Weird.
i wake up every morning with a diff'rent song stuck in my head. an "ear worm" if you will. the song is usually gone by the time i get out of the shower, but i decided to see if i could try to remember them. today, though, all that was in my head was cotton candy.

we had a party last night. our 1st anniversary in our 1st house. it raged for 10 hours. needless to say i was a little groggy this morning so for the first time in a long time there was nothing there for me when i woke up this morning.

that's just fine. let's review the playlist and see where we are so far.

hmm. so far, i'd have to say that if i got this mix from a friend as a present, i might be a little put off. sure, it's all over the place, but that's me. there's nothing wrong with that. but this mix might as well have a couple of Loverboy tracks stuck in there for good measure. that's all that's missing as far as i'm concerned. I'll keep going. as long as there's a song stuck in my head first thing in the morning, i'll write about it here.
